The International Energy Agency (IEA) released the " Renewable Energy 2022" report, which made a bold prediction on the new installed capacity of renewable energy in the world: " It is expected that the installed capacity of renewable energy in the world will increase in the next 5 years. 2400 gigawatts, which is 30% higher than the same period last year."

According to the report: " Renewable energy will account for more than 90% of global power expansion in the next 5 years, and by early 2025 renewable energy will surpass coal to become the world's largest source of electricity. Its share in the power mix is expected to increase by 10% percentage points, reaching 38% by 2027."

And the "14th Five-Year Plan" accnounced by China said that China will account for nearly half of the world's new renewable energy capacity, and will be the main force for new renewable energy installed capacity.

By the way, in May 2022, Belgium, Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands signed the Esbujerg Declaration, a €135 billion offshore wind deal to deploy at least 65 GW by 2030 and 15 GW by 2050.
