On the April 15th, at the Daban section of the 219 National Highway in Tibet, the construction staff of the State Grid Xinjiang Electric Power Co., Ltd. Kashi Power Supply Company was using the ropeway to speed up the transportation of materials needed for the Tongda Network Project in the photovoltaic village of Xihexiu Township, Yecheng County.

This project is one of the construction projects of 11 large-scale photovoltaic power project lages in our district. At present, 4 villages have completed the power transmission, and the remaining 7 villages are all in the Kashi area, and the construction task will be completed by June 30.

From 2019 to 2020, State Grid Co., Ltd. and the autonomous region invested about 560 million yuan in special projects to vigorously promote the construction of large-scale power grid projects in 11 photovoltaic administrative villages. Provide power guarantee to win the battle against poverty.

Since most of the tower's erection points are between the mountains and the mountains, most of the tower vehicles cannot be reached. The materials needed for the project can only be transported by erecting ropeways or using primitive methods such as mules and yaks. After the project is completed, the power grid transmission capacity of these villages will be effectively improved to fully meet the villagers' electricity demand.
