On April 6th, Mr.Trinh Dinh Dung, the Vice Premier of Vietnam, signed the incentive system for solar energy development in Vietnam. The FIT will be valid for 20 years. Details as follow:

For solar floating projects, The electricity price is 7.69 cents /kWh.
For solar panel ground mount projects, The electricity price is 7.09 cents /kWh.
For solar panel roof mount projects, The electricity price is 8.38 cents /kWh

The deadline for the new FIT is less than 9 months. If the solar projects could be build in the following 9 months, the investor will enjoy above fixed subsidies in the following 20 years.
