1️⃣ Put the pad in place: Stick the pad right under the hook.

2️⃣ Line up the hook: Slide the hook onto the pad, and then screw it into the wood.

3️⃣ Lock it down: Set up the hook like normal, but be sure the pad stays flat when you tighten it.
