1️⃣ Assess the Parking Area
Check the available space, ground conditions, overhead clearance, drainage, and foundation requirements. Select the appropriate carport layout for the site.
2️⃣ Install the Foundations
Install anchor bolts, concrete supports, or other specified foundations according to the structural drawings. Check their position and alignment before continuing.
3️⃣ Assemble the Frame
Install the support columns, arms, crossbeams, and purlins. Keep the specified adjustment allowance until the frame is properly aligned.
4️⃣ Install the Mounting Rails
Fit the panel brackets and rails to the carport frame. Set the required panel angle and check the rail alignment before tightening.
5️⃣ Install the Solar Panels
Place the PV modules on the rails and secure them with compatible clamps. Tighten the fasteners to the recommended torque.
6️⃣ Complete the Grounding
Connect the carport structure and PV mounting components to the grounding system according to the project design and applicable electrical requirements.
7️⃣ Final Inspection
Check the frame, fasteners, panel alignment, protective coating, drainage, and connections. Make sure everything is properly secured before commissioning.
