1️⃣ Mark hook locations

Determine the best location for the hooks based on the panel layout and roof structure.

2️⃣ Remove slate tiles

Carefully remove the slate tiles at the marked locations to expose the roof battens or rafters.

3️⃣ Install hooks

Align the hooks with the underlying structural members (battens or rafters) and secure with suitable fasteners (e.g., stainless steel screws).

4️⃣ Replace slate tiles

Trim or modify the removed slate tiles as needed to accommodate the protrusion of the hooks and reinstall to maintain the appearance and integrity of the roof.

5️⃣ Install mounting rails

Secure the mounting rails to the installed hooks, ensuring they are level and properly aligned.

6️⃣ Install solar panels

Mount the solar panels to the mounting rails and secure with end clamps and intermediate clamps based on the system design.

7️⃣ Electrical grounding

Ensure all components are properly grounded in accordance with local electrical codes and standards.
