1️⃣ Find the wood beam under the tile where you want to put the hook.

2️⃣ Gently lift the slate tile without breaking it, so you can get to the rafter.

3️⃣ Screw the hook to that rafter with stainless steel screws.

4️⃣ Put the tile back. You might have to trim it a little to make room for the hook.

5️⃣ Attach the mounting rail to the hook, and then put the tiles back in place.
